Welcome!
I've been making patches since 2017. It began with an idea that I could have my mother make the correct Cobra sigils for the Finest (a GI Joe costume club I am in) and when my mother gave me her Brother SE-400 embroidery machine (I have since paid her for it) because she didn't use it, I have produced quite a few different patches to folks in and out of the Finest.

In 2018, several members of the Finest chipped in for a Singer Futura that has a 6.25" x 10.25" hoop, so I can make patches of large Cobra sigils on the chests of our troopers and officers.

In 2021, a good friend of mine gave me a Brother PE-770 since he didn't use it. This one gave me the option to do 5"x7" patches...a size in between my Singer and other Brother.

In 2024, my mother had a Bernina Bernette Deco 340 that she was going to give away because she couldn't get it to work. She recieved it from a friend of hers that also couldn't figure it out. I took it home and figured it out. It is another machine with a 5"x7" hoop.
I specialize in one off patches for costumes and cosplay, but will do small runs of 10 or less, depending on the size and design. I do not discount patches bought in batches. If a patch is $12, every patch in that batch will also be $12 ($12 x 10 = $120). The reason for this is that I do not have commercial machines where I can make a dozen at a time. Patches are made one at a time. Designs must be no larger than a 4x4 hoop for batch orders. I cannot do very detailed embroidery (a lot of lines) since I only have machines made for home use and limited design software. I do enjoy designing patches and have done quite a few from scratch. Expect upfront fees for designing patches. Most patches are done on my 4" x 4" hoop. Default backing is sew on, but iron on backing is a free option. I DO NOT do hook and loop (Velcro) backing.

My process is a follows: I draw up the design in Inkscape, edit it in Corel Paintshop Pro, digitize and edit the design in PE Design, send it to one of my machines, stitch it out, seal the edges with Fray Check, seal the back with Heat N Bond Lite (sew-on), cut it out by hand, and ship it out.
I absolutely will not make official military, police, fire, etc. patches, even if they do not make them anymore. I will also not make most costume club patches, including 501st/Rebel Legion and Ghostbuster groups. I will, however, do some patches for reenactment costumes.
I do have a full time job and a family. This is a hobby and I do it in my spare time. I feel my prices are fair for one offs and small batches. Most money made goes towards machine maintenance and supplies, but also to charities. I can change sizes, colors, and background color upon request. I use canvas twill for the fabric, unless specified in the description. I can also resize to smaller or bigger if requested (depending on the design).

I am no professional and I prefer making patches rather than direct embroidery. I specialize in making costume patches that do not exist or are hard to find. If I can find a patch you are requesting cheaper elsewhere, I will direct you to that maker/seller. I am not here to make a profit and would rather support other small businesses.

The best way to order is to message me through my Facebook page or e-mail. Links are in the corner.

Thank you
